At an early age I picked up the guitar, which was later followed by the piano. I immersed myself in playing and composing music of all kinds. Additionally I sharpened my visual senses in film and especially photography. Consequently I studied 'audiovisual media' at the University of Media in Stuttgart, Germany. Focusing on audio engineering I graduated in 2007. Ever since I have been working as a composer for film. In 2008 I won a full scholarship from the renowned Fulbright Commission to start my studies at Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA. In addition Berklee awarded me the Berklee Achievement Scholarship in 2009. After returning to Germany in 2010 I was accepted into film scoring studies at renowned Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
